WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT TO SEE FROM THE FRONT ROW

  There are many musical masterpieces that are not performed within the Sutherland Shire region. Front Row Theatre Co. will be looking at how we can push the boundaries to deliver these incredible opportunities. 

We are excited to produce these shows, giving up and coming local artists the chance to perform these masterpieces, whilst being remunerated for their craft, and giving the local theatre community the chance to enjoy these otherwise unseen productions. 

  It is no secret that the Shire has an ageing population, all of which love a day out going for lunch and a show. There are not enough of these for the seniors of our community to attend. 

We hope to produce a Seniors concert every 2nd month, each of which with a different music genre. 

We will also look at partnering with local restaurants and clubs, for dining specials and performance opportunities. 

  The local parents and grandparents are crying out for entertainment during the week for their children. We tend to forget that there are thousands of children in the Shire and surrounding areas that are not yet at school, however, all the children’s activities are put on during the school holidays, making these activities overly populated and are generally more focused on school aged children. 

It is our vision, to offer entertainment, performances, and activations for children from the age of1 year to 5 years old to enjoy during the weekdays, giving parents an opportunity to take their children out locally for the morning or afternoon, for something that is both entertaining and educational. 

  The performing arts talent within the shire is out of this word, however there are not planforms available locally for up-and-coming artists to perfect and perform their art. We endeavour to host cabaret seasons where local artists can submit a cabaret to be performed. This takes the financial risk away from performers hiring a venue to do a one-off show, but also offers them the opportunity to connect with other artists to learn from, grow and potentially collaborate with. Creating this type of community, offers further exposure to audiences they may not have reached, and may lead to further opportunities with their performing career.
